Cynthia Bailey Fired from 'Real Housewives of Atlanta'?

IBTimes.com:
Brace yourselves, “Real Housewives of Atlanta” fans. Apparently, model and reality star Cynthia Bailey has reportedly been sacked from the Bravo series. Another housewife is also said to be in the process of being let go by the show.

On Monday, gossip blog Media TakeOut exclusively reported that Bailey has been given the pink slip by “RHOA” producers after learning about it from an unnamed insider. The tabloid did not confirm the credibility of the source, but it did quote the latter as saying, “Usually we wait until after the reunion show to fire the ladies, but [the producers] want to sign new housewives soon — so they’re making budget moves early.”

Media Takeout is known for serving up juicy stories and sometimes very blatant attempts at creating buzz for a celebrity. The owner, former lawyer Fred Mwangaguhunga, has since been interviewed by many mainstream and big entertainment sites about their unnamed sources. In a dialogue with Huffington Post back in 2013, the proud blogger shared that the company has tipsters and celebrities that provide them with exclusive bits, which is the reason why Media Takeout is considered more reliable than The National Enquirer and other tabloids.

If this bit about Bailey is indeed true, then it’s a sad day for her fans who still want to see her on the reality series. Nevertheless, this wouldn’t come as a surprise to many avid viewers of the show because she has a history of getting physical with another housewife. In 2015, Bailey got demoted after kicking Porsha Williams while filming the series, Perez Hilton reported at the time.

While an official statement announcing Bailey’s departure from “RHOA” has yet to surface, promotions for the series continue to mention Bailey and her ex, Peter Thomas. In a recent interview with The Daily Dish, Bailey confirmed that she did not only finalize her divorce with Thomas, she has also moved on and started dating. “You know, we've been separated for over a year, and just this whole process has been a lot, just mentally and emotionally, and I'm not saying, 'Yay, I'm so happy to be divorced, but I'm kind of saying, 'Yay, I'm so happy that it's finally over,” she said.
