Dawn Ward Cries 'Witch Hunt' After Neighbours Oppose Her Plans to Build a Wedding ...

TheSun.com:
REAL Housewives of Cheshire star Dawn Ward has blamed a “witch hunt” after neighbours opposed her plan to build an extension to her £13.5m mansion, Warford Hall.

The lavish ten-bed home in Alderley Edge, Cheshire, already boasts a cinema, a games room, a beauty salon, a gym, a swimming pool, a bar, seven reception rooms and stables for 15 horses.

Now businesswoman Dawn, 42, who shares the mansion with her husband, ex-footballer Ashley Ward, and their four daughters, wants to add a conference and wedding venue to host up to 60 events per year.

The glam WAG, who already runs a successful interior design company, has been granted planning approval to build an extension, but she still needs approval for a “change of use” for the space, which is currently being used as living and office space.

And neighbours aren’t happy – up to 150 people have objected to her plans, complaining the venue would cause too much noise and disruption in the community.

A final decision is expected to be made at a planning meeting at Macclesfield town hall June 1, which locals are being encouraged to attend.

A letter to neighbours reads: “We feel that by our very presence we may hope to display to members of the committee the strength of feeling there is against what could change forever the character of our peaceful village community.”
