The Real Housewives of New York City star tells PEOPLE Now that she's been happily mingling since her divorce from ex Mario Singer was finalized six months ago.
"I'm having a great time," says Singer, 59. "I'm meeting all types of people, going out with all types of people. I got out of a marriage of 23 years, and I think it's time to go out and have some fun."
But as Singer's love life has heated up, it's created friction with her daughter Avery, 21.
Singer quipped that the college student grouses, "You know, you just only got divorced and already you've had boyfriends, and I don't even have one. I don't get it mom!"
Among those boyfriends, Singer shares that she "did have a serious relationship for four or five months," but a close friend made her realize she wasn't ready to settle down again.
More recently, Singer says "this gorgeous actor" she met at a 2016 Tribeca Film Festival after-party took her number and asked her out.
Though she did insist the actor is well-known, Singer held firm on protecting his identity: "I'm not saying his name."
