Is Kandi Burruss's Marriage Already in Trouble?

People.com:
Although Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker have only been married a few months, the newlyweds acknowledged on Sunday's The Real Housewives of Atlanta that not only was the honeymoon over, but it never really began.

"We didn't even have a honeymoon," Burruss told a counselor, whom the couple sought out in order to work through tensions in their new marriage.

Tucker acknowledged that the pressure to sign a prenup – which was a major theme of last season, when Burruss's mother, Mama Joyce, called Tucker an opportunist for refusing to sign one – had affected their marriage.

(Mama Joyce later showed up to see her daughter – who did not tell her she and Tucker were in therapy – accusing her of "changing" and "not seeing her family" although she later told Burruss, "I love you more than I love myself.")

"It was like she had no feelings," Tucker told the therapist about the prenup. "It wasn't like … 'Let's talk this out,' it was more, 'If he don't sign it, whatever. It'll be an expensive party.' "

"Todd is turning this whole session into 'What's Wrong with Kandi?'" said a visibly perturbed Burruss.

The situation grew even more tense when the counselor asked about the once-frisky couple's sex life, which Burruss said had gone to hell, even wondering aloud if her husband had been cheating.

"It's kind of jacked up that he didn't answer the question," Burruss said. "Whatever's done in the dark will come to light … I am going to do whatever it takes to save my marriage."

The counselor even gave the couple some homework: a date night.

Cynthia Bailey attempted to ease the tension with Phaedra Parks – following last week's Chocolate-gate, in which Parks took a swing at Kenya Moore – but the tense lunch ended seconds after Parks sat down.

"For you to say I'm sleeping around with someone and having an affair … You have made it into something that you did not fact-check," insisted Parks.

"In this group, we don't fact-check," Bailey said, reminding Parks of last season's text-gate, in which Parks accused Moore of sending sex texts to her ex Apollo Nida. "We just talk."

"Honey, this court is adjourned," fumed Parks, who stalked out of the restaurant and into a waiting car where she stated, "She was seconds away from getting her ass kicked."

  1. Run, Todd, run! If you get that woman pregnant, her and her satanic mother will make the rest of your life hell. Get out and leave them to their sick and twisted mother-daughter relationship.

  2. I don't believe Todd loves her any longer. The mothers fights really ruined any chance they had. Now that Sharon has died I'm sure Todd has enormous dislike fine Joyce and for kandi not standing up against her vile mother. I don't think she can get pregnant anyway. She has had one boyfriend after another for years and hasn't gotten pg. Todd should get out now he will never be accepted by Joyce or kandis staff. He shouldn't be involved in her businesses anyway. And that play was horrible. No
    Wonder it folded.
